I started drawing very early in my childhood, at about 4 years old.  One of my most memorable Christmas presents I received as a child was a charcoal pencil and a sketch pad.  My parents were very supportive of my desire to create art.

In high school, in the late sixties, I was the president of the art club.  I painted, sculpted, and crafted there.  Then, after graduation, I let life get in the way of my art.  For most of my adult life, I ignored the call.

Upon retirement, I finally was able to set aside the distractions of my earlier life (work, marriage, children) and am now able to devote all the time I wish for artistic endeavors.  

Now I live and work in my Halloween Studio in Abilene, Texas, a city very conducive to the art world.  I have been affiliated with Art Crush, where I once had a studio, and where I now show my art when the opportunity arises.  My studio is now on my property, making it very convenient to pick up the brush whenever the muse strikes me.
